Computer Woes.

You never realize how much you depend on technology until it fails you.

Yesterday, my laptop, an IBM ThinkPad T41p, the heart of my mobile office, starting having what appeared to be display problems. A few pixels would die, and then the whole display would die.

Turns out that it was justn't the display; the whole machine would freeze up.

I called IBM support, and they are dispatching a technician with a new display and mother board.

Thank goodness it's still under warranty and Novell has an on-site support agreement with IBM.
